- Long-context pricing: above 272,000 tokens, input is billed at ×2 ($0.20) and output at ×1.5 ($0.75). See long-context pricing.
- Launched 2026-09-22; half of GPT-5.6 Luna’s input price and about 58% below its output price. Cache writes bill at 1.25x input ($0.125). Once a prompt passes ~272K input tokens the whole request bills long-context rates: $0.20 input / $0.75 output, cached input $0.02. Fast mode is priced at 2x.
