Pricing notes
- Tokenizer: Newer tokenizer produces roughly 30% more tokens per unit of text — per-token price is not directly comparable across tokenizer generations. See tokenizer.
- Anthropic's most capable model, launched 2026-09-01. Same $10 / $50 list price as Fable 5, but cache reads are priced at 0.025x input ($0.25) instead of the usual 0.1x — Anthropic estimates roughly 25% lower cost on a typical workload. Claude Mythos 5.1 is the same model at a more permissive safeguard level for vetted cybersecurity and life-sciences organizations (trusted access, US only) and carries the identical rate card.
