Dev/Test pricing
Discounted rates for non-production workloads under an Enterprise Dev/Test or Pay-As-You-Go Dev/Test subscription.
Azure Dev/Test pricing removes the Windows and some other license charges on VMs running under a Dev/Test subscription, for development and testing (not production) use. For Linux VMs the compute rate is already the base rate, so Dev/Test mainly benefits Windows workloads.
Dev/Test is a subscription-level benefit rather than a per-VM toggle, which is why this explorer surfaces it as context rather than a primary column.
